How the free trial works
- Start it from any Pro badge or from the plans dialog in the editor. Guests sign in first; the guest project comes along.
- Add a card on the payment page. You pay nothing that day, and Swash never sees the card number.
- After 3 days Pro is $12 a month and renews until you cancel. Cancel during the trial and it simply ends.
Limits on every plan
- Scenes up to 600 seconds long.
- Up to 24 artboards on one board, each in its own format.
- Video files up to 30 seconds and 100 MB each.
- Audio files up to 20 MB and 5 minutes each; up to 8 tracks per project.
- GIF export up to 540 px wide.

Pricing questions
Do I need a card to use Swash?
No. You can work as a guest or with a free account without a card. A card is only asked for when you start the 3-day Pro trial, on the payment provider’s page, and Swash never sees the card number.
Is the free plan time-limited?
No. The free plan has no time limit and no trial clock: keep using the full editor with up to 3 projects for as long as you like. The 3-day trial is only for Pro.
How does the free trial work?
Start the trial from any Pro badge or from the plans dialog. You pay nothing that day. After 3 days Pro costs $12 a month and renews until you cancel. If you cancel during the trial, Pro stays on until the trial ends and does not renew.
Is there a watermark on the free plan?
MP4 and GIF exports without Pro carry a small Swash mark. A free account gets a few exports a month without it; the count starts again on the 1st. PNG stills never carry the mark, on any plan. Pro never adds it.
What happens to my projects if I cancel Pro?
Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. After that the free limits apply again, and your projects stay. If you have more than 3, you can still open and edit all of them, but you cannot create a new one until you are under 3.
Are shaders part of the free plan?
Yes. Every shader in the Shaders tab works without Pro. Pro adds most 3D cards and shapes, camera moves, the custom text path, background removal, Community publishing, 4K at 60 fps and exports without the mark.
How do I cancel?
Open Account from your email at the bottom of the sidebar and click Manage subscription. It opens the payment provider’s subscription page, where you can cancel or change your card.
